Vijendra Krishnamurthy covers the IT rack and rack PDU—or Power Distribution Unit (PDU)—markets, where he advises customers on the latest trends and developments. He has over nine years of diverse experience in various verticals including telecom, technology, healthcare, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
Prior to joining Omdia, Vijendra was a senior data analyst at Qlarant, a national leader in conducting quantitative analytics for the US federal and state health programs. There he built predictive models to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in prescription-drug and managed-care programs. The models are used by law enforcement as well as The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services—the federal agency that administers the nation’s healthcare programs—to identify fraudulent behavior and track outcomes. The algorithms designed, tested and put to work have demonstrated a greater than 90% accuracy rating.
Vijendra also has professional experience working for Amazon in its Kindle eBook line of devices, helping them with performance testing and data analysis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Anna University in India, and has a master’s degree in business analytics from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Vijendra is based at the Austin, Texas, office.
