He was a freelance technology writer, producing numerous articles, white papers, and a monthly column for several years. He has played the guitar, dobro, lap steel, and keyboards in local clubs in his spare time, and has lived and worked in the U.S., U.K., and Japan. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in physics and electronics from Royal Holloway College, London University, U.K., and is based at Tempe, Arizona, U.S.
