Shane Walker

Shane Walker focuses primarily on medical devices and healthcare I.T. His current medical technology coverage areas include software and storage related to patient management and care coordination, virtual care provision, and emerging technologies being developed for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Shane has more than 15 years of experience conducting industry research, business analysis, and strategy development.

He has worked closely on a bespoke or custom basis with a wide range of clients, including large end-equipment and semiconductor manufacturers, software developers, and startups, while also providing syndicated work. He continues to conduct primary industry research in addition to consumer-oriented analysis, specifically on trends surrounding chronic disease management and on technologies being developed to improve care outcomes. Shane also provides research and analysis on subjects such as building technologies and consumer electronics.

Shane spent several years in the computer software sector as sales director for a leading CAD developer, conducting competitive intelligence and developing marketing strategy for an international VAR network.

Shane received his bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida, and he holds an MBA in corporate finance from St Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
