Ms. Alzbeta Fellenbaum, a principal analyst and manager of research at IHS Markit, leads strategic analysis in telecom for the Service Providers & Platforms team.
In this role, Alzbeta covers broadband access data and technology trends. She closely follows and advises on internet service provider strategies and monitors technical and regulatory developments across the industry.
Alzbeta joined IHS Markit in 2012 and since 2013 has been managing the Broadband Coverage in Europe project, which is conducted by IHS Markit on behalf of the European Commission. The project analyzes the availability of broadband access technologies in 31 European countries.
Prior to IHS Markit, Alzbeta worked as an audience research and market insights coordinator for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, a US broadcasting organization based in Prague. Previously, Alzbeta worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where she was involved in research on the Czech Republic's accession into the European Union, among other projects.
Alzbeta holds Master of Arts degrees in International Relations and American Studies from Charles University in Prague and has studied at the University of Miami and Georgetown University in the US.
