Michael Yang brings a wealth of experience to his current role in managing research on the lively and volatile global DRAM space, as well as the rich minefield comprising the China research area on semiconductors.
Michael can attribute his expertise to many years of high-level work in the memory business of industry majors. At Samsung Electronics, he led product marketing efforts for SSDs and mobile memory chips while also expanding the company’s mobile memory business, which included products like OneNAND, eMMC, and MCP. He also held strategic product marketing positions in the flash memory product groups of US chipmaker titan Intel Corp. and Fujitsu, the Japanese multinational equipment and services provider.
Michael earned his M.B.A. at the University of California in Davis, and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
