Light+Building, the world’s largest trade fair for lighting and building service technology, welcomed more than 2,700 exhibitors from 55 countries, across more than 260,000 square meters spread ove 25 halls.
I attended the fair for five days, Monday through Friday, and was joined by three of my colleagues, Justin Siller, Shen Wang, and Bryan Montany. The fair covers 11 halls, with exhibitors spanning technical lighting and lamps; technical, design orientated lighting; decorative lighting; components for lighting technology and accessories/LED; electrical engineering; home and building automation; and new for 2018, security technology via the co-hosted Intersec trade show.
This show report contains our highlights from the fair and what caught our eye.
