The box office performance of the slate of video titles that hit digital and physical retail shelves in the US in February 2017 was up 7% to $746.6 million compared to $696.2 million from the February 2016 slate. However, this was 7% down compared to the February 2015 video slate ($803.2 million). Despite this the February 2017 home video release slate has the third highest box office receipts of any February over the last decade. A total of 33 box-office titles released in February 2017, five less titles released during the same month in 2016.
