Shaw has reported for its first financial quarter (ending 30 November 2016) and while operating results are strong, with pro-forma revenues up by 2.8% y/y and additional gains from the acquisition of Wind in March 2016. However total subscriptions fell and the closure of the Shomi streaming service has led to a significant C$107 million ($81.4 million) charge.
