Chinese “Single’s Day” is an online promotional holiday held on 11/11. It was originally conceived of as a holiday to celebrate people who are proud to be single, but has transitioned into the largest online e-commerce shopping holiday of the year. It is the equivalent to Cyber Monday in the US. TV's are a key promotion during the shopping holiday (created be e-tailer Alibaba) and many brands report their sales. We analyze the reports and provide some insights in the attached report.
