The top mobile games companies covered in this report grew their reported revenues by 29% in 2015 to reach a combined $17.4bn. Overall mobile games growth is slowing down. The same group of top publishers achieved 42% year-on-year growth in 2014 and 67% growth in 2013. The mobile games market is now mainstream and the smartphone market is maturing quickly in North America, Europe and advanced Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea and now China.
