Mobile content, services and hardware companies raised almost $13bn in disclosed funding in Q1 2015. In addition, M&A activity in Q1 2016 increased noticeably from the preivous slump in Q4 2015 with a total of 72 deals, an increase of 63% from the previous quarter.
