Amazon recently announced that it would be dropping Google’s Chromecast and the Apple TV from its online store due to both players offering a sub-optimal experience for watching Amazon content, according to statements by the company. Specifically, the company cited the lack of support for watching Amazon Prime Video. No new listings for either product would be allowed, and listings for existing inventory would be removed by October 29th, 2015.
